Elevator-Escalator Consortium Welcomes Its Newest Member

The Center is pleased to announce that Amtrak has officially joined the Elevator-Escalator Consortium. As an active member, they will be attending the upcoming Elevator-Escalator meetings in early March, 2017.

The National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) hosted a conference January 9-11, 2017, in Washington, D.C. for more than 46 American Apprenticeship Initiative (AAI) grantees to discuss the successes and challenges that they are facing in their AAI grant initiatives.

Based on feedback from courseware pilots and SME peer reviews, our ISD team has updated Participant Guides, PowerPoints and quizzes for APS and Batteries courses 104 and 204 and HVAC course 106. All existing PowerPoints were revamped to accommodate on-screen display of instructor notes for the presenter.
